Manager 2, Executive Dining Room

Unit Description
Sodexo Senior Living is seeking an Executive Dining Room Manager 2 for a new sale, Lions Gate, a high-end kosher continuing care retirement community with 275 residents, located in Voorhees, New Jersey. This position will oversee the daily operations of the independent living dining room and bistro. Will report to the Operations Manager and manage an hourly staff of approximately 15 FT and PT employees. Typical shift will be 11:00am - 7:00pm, may vary, with every other weekend.

Are you the experienced dining room manager we're seeking?
We are looking for candidates who will:
have oversight of daily FOH operations (dining room and bistro)
deliver high quality food service;
achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
create a positive environment; and
ensure Sodexo Standards are met.
The ideal candidate:
has previous food service management experience ideally in restaurant, country club, or retirement community environment;
has ability to train and hire food service staff;
has basic culinary / food presentation knowledge and is knowledgeable in safety and sanitation compliance;
has strong hospitality skills;
has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed;
is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
