Summary:
Center For Family Services is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Program Director for the Juntos Program.
This is a full time position in a quickly growing organization that positively influences children and teens.
The Assistant Program Director provides leadership to staff, promotes a sense of agency with co-workers and staff, and communicates in ways that support agency mission and values.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
The Assistant Program Director coordinates delivery of services with the Assistant Director of Foster Care, Nurse, educational and clinical staff and provides clinical supervision to agency personnel.
This individual completes monthly and quarterly reports as necessary as well as maintains documentation of relevant supervisory issues.
The Assistant Program Director assures the continuing training and development of program staff, provides staff training, schedules meetings with program staff, develops and promotes relationships with other social service agencies and represents the program and the agency in the community.
This individual will transport youth for court hearing, reunification and medical appointments.
The Assistant Program Director develops new program resources, serves as a member of the CFS Supervisory Team and may provide counseling and other direct service activities as needed.
The schedule for this position is generally 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
However, the Assistant Program Director is on call 24/7/365 and the position requires some evening and weekend hours.
Requirements:
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology or other relevant behavioral science, plus 5 years of progressive employment experience with a social services or child care agency or organization.
Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology or other relevant behavioral science.
5 - 7 years of progressive employment experience with a social services or child care agency or organization.
Bilingual language fluency in both English and Spanish 8 - 10 years of progressive employment experience with a social services or child care agency or organization.
Must have been a licensed driver for at least three years.
Must pass an initial and ongoing motor vehicle record check evaluations.
Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License in the state of his/her residence.
