Responsibilities:
Responsible for explaining the agency's health and life benefits plans and programs from vendor relations management all the way to employee Open Enrollment and edibility issues Helps ensure health and life benefits education Agency wide and works to ensure benefits and wellness are widely known about and more effectively utilized Ensures that health and life insurance plans are accurately explained to all newly employed team members Contributes to Agency wellness efforts, program and committee Helps to ensure legal compliance throughout all areas of benefits Responsible for much of the staff data coming in and out of the HR Department and for keeping accurate data tracking in the HRIS and other required systems Ensures personnel files are managed and maintained for all staff within the agency and that all required documents are either in the electronic file or the physical file.
(examples include:
correct background checks, CARI and CHRI administration, driver abstracts and drug test completed.
Responsible for the issuance of network and email account access Manages the performance review process and data beginning to end ensuring that COA, federal, state, local and CFS policy compliance is upheld Participate in the completion of program audits Participate in the completion of certifications and licensing Manage the sign on bonus process Keeping the content areas updated on the staff section of the website Continue to identify areas of growth Provides training and technical assistance to other staff regarding human resources Provides leadership to colleagues and staff colleagues in order to foster a healthy, positive and strong work environment Communicates in a way that supports Agency's mission, ethics and values Contributes to the overall agency development and attainment of contractual and service goals.
Promotes healthy work environment and work relationships conducive to maximized efficiency and execution of agency mission and service objectives; Helps with COA, state, local, federal, vendor and other required and best practice standards in all aspects of the job Handles sensitive employee information and upholds the highest level of confidentiality May be asked to manage or work on special projects Assists the human resources team as needed Attends trainings and workshops specific to regulatory changes, best business administration practices, and current trends in human resource execution, to stay current and abreast of resources and methods for workplace productivity and efficiency ? May serve on internal agency-wide committees, assist Executive and Management Teams in decision making process', and may manage special projects Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in related area of study commensurate experience in relevant field may be acceptable in lieu of degree.
1-3 years of related experience 3-6 years of related experience Pass a urine drug screen.
Must have been a licensed driver for at least three years.
Must pass an initial and ongoing motor vehicle record check evaluations.
Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License in the state of his/her residence.
